Rochester Big Bright Light Show 2011

On Monday, November 28, residents of Rochester, MI, braved a steady drizzle to kick off the 2011 Big, Bright Light Show. Mayor Jeffrey Cuthbertson was joined by Santa & Mrs. Claus to lead the crowd in a countdown to illuminate Downtown Rochester with 1.8 million twinkling lights. Visitors to the downtown area can enjoy the lights from 6pm to Midnight every night through January 1st.

NEWS: Art & Apples 2011

The 46th annual Art & Apples Festival took place in Rochester Municipal Park during the second weekend in September. An estimated 200,000 visitors enjoyed artwork from over 290 artists. The festival is the main fundraiser for the Paint Creek Center for the Arts, located in downtown Rochester.

NEWS: Arts, Beats & Eats 2011

In its 14th year Arts, Beats & Eats invaded downtown Royal Oak over Labor Day Weekend. 160 artists were on hand, as well as 68 food vendors and 210 bands performed on 11 stages.
