CMNtv News Brief – The 2010 Woodward Dream Cruise kicked off on Friday, August 20, with a ribbon cutting ceremony in Ferndale, MI. That same day, George Barris was Grand Marshal of the Berkley Cruisefest, a parade of classic cars, including cars from TV and film that traveled down 12 Mile Rd.

The Annual Brooksie Way Half Marathon and 5k Run is looking for Volunteers to help organize and run the marathon. CMNtv is calling on its Members to Volunteer for the Brooksie Way Half Marathon.
WHEN: 8:00 am – Sunday, October 3, 2010.
WHERE: The race begins at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan and finishes at historic Meadow Brook Hall.

WHAT: The Brooksie Way Half Marathon is one of Oakland County’s premier quality of life events. County Executive L. Brooks Patterson began the Brooksie Way races to promote Oakland County and encourage people to become more physically active.
